Our Intermediate DSLR course is perfect for anyone who is looking to take their photography to the next level. You will start using the camera functions more creatively, get a better understanding of composition and come away with some amazing images! Students attending the course will be required to have basic photography skills with an understanding of shutter speed, ISO settings, aperture etc. If you do not have these skills we would suggest you first attend our beginners DSLR course.
Our Intermediate DSLR course is a one day intensive course that will get you to look differently at what you are photographing and will show you that even the simplest of subjects can make stunning photographs! During the day you will be completing 4 projects using a range of props, lights and reflectors. Each project is designed to get you thinking about composition, lighting and creative use of aperture and shutter speeds.
Do you need expensive lighting and setups to create stunning images? Of course you don't, that's why all professional lighting is banned! This course will teach you how to use light creatively but we will be using desk lamps, natural light, reflectors and even torches to make flat dull images into interesting eye candy.
The projects that you will complete on the course will give you a better understanding of aperture priority, shutter priority and manual mode using them all creatively. All of the images taken on the day can be used in your portfolio.
